A thick, matte, opaque preparation of marble dust and polymer emulsion used to build heavy textures on rigid supports. Handles like clay and dries like stone.
Can be painted, drilled, sanded and carved when dry. Excellent substrate for paint, pastel, graphite and watercolor. Great for sculptural applications and creating 3-D forms.
When mixed with acrylic colours, it will act as a weak tinting white, while increasing thickness and rigidity.
